The Annuity & Life Distribution Team, comprising 15 full-time employees, assembles and mails annuity contracts and life policies, manages owner and agent correspondence, and maintains distribution records.

Role responsibilities

Assemble life policies and annuity contracts.

Manage workflow to ensure timely processing, consistency, and quality in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.

Support the team with financial manual payments, AppLater processing, and Delivery Receipt follow‑up.

Location and Hours The position is 100% in‑office at Grandview Yard (1000 Yard Street, Grandview Heights, OH 43212). Work hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with possible holiday work.

Key Responsibilities

Process business requests according to government regulations, contract provisions, and internal procedures. Adhere to high standards of professional conduct and excellent customer service.

Provide outstanding quality customer service by understanding needs and ensuring timely responses.

Maintain current knowledge of contract and product provisions, administration of Nationwide products, processing systems, and related federal and state regulations.

Integrate lean methodology into daily interactions through problem‑solving meetings and team huddles.

Consult and interpret contract provisions for current and past products and assumed business for policyholders, agents/brokers, and other operating units. Identify matters requiring insurance or securities license and route inquiries to the properly registered representative.

Reporting Relationships Reports to Operations Division Manager or Service Team Unit Manager.

Typical Skills and Experiences Education : High school studies required. Undergraduate studies desirable. Technical coursework such as LOMA, CLU, or ChFC desirable.

Licenses / Certifications : FINRA Series 6 license preferred and may be required depending on the product line.

Experience : One to three years of customer‑service experience with product‑related responsibilities preferred.

Knowledge, Abilities & Skills : General knowledge of office practices, customer service, information systems, and insurance/financial services industry practices (annuities, mutual funds). Effective verbal and written communication; basic analytical and problem‑resolution skills; research, analyze and solve problems; proactive decision‑making; team‑building and collaboration.

Additional leadership skills, competencies, and experiences may be considered.

Job Conditions Overtime Eligibility : Non‑exempt (eligible).

Working Conditions : Normal office environment.

Associates must acquire required federal and/or state licenses/registrations within the designated time period; failure to do so renders the associate ineligible to continue. A credit check may be required if a license is required.

Compensation National salary range for Financial Services Representative: $46,345.00 – $75,500.00. Expected starting salary range: $46,345.00 – $60,800.00.
