About the Role
As a CBRE Property Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the team responsible for all operational and financial activities of a single property or small portfolio of properties.
This job is part of the Property Management job function. You are responsible for operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.
The role is onsite in Cincinnati, OH, USA.
Responsibilities
Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and mentorship. Lead all aspects of the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross‑train staff. Set and track staff and department goal dates. Mentor and coach as needed.
Respond to raised tenant needs and issues.
Perform financial reporting and lease abstracting.
Act as primary contact with property owners, serving as owner representative to ensure that objectives are being met. Prepare and deliver timely, accurate, and complete reports.
Develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses. Forecast management plans and prepare monthly performance reports, explaining variances.
Help create programs that will assist the property with emergency recoveries.
Prepare all required legal notices for approval.
Review tenant rent and common area maintenance recovery charges to ensure payment is timely.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
Apply knowledge of own field and how own subject area integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day‑to‑day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience in commercial real estate and education will be considered.
Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job field and department.
In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mentality.
Salary and Benefits The minimum salary for the Property Manager is $85,000 annually and the maximum salary is $95,000 annually. Compensation that is offered will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, and vision insurance.
