Data Entry Clerk Onsite: Concord, NY

Contract: 12 months

Client is seeking a detail‑oriented Data Entry Clerk to support document review and data validation activities in a fully onsite environment. This role goes beyond basic data entry and requires strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and the ability to verify the accuracy of source documentation prior to entering data. The position involves working with technical documentation such as plans, applications, and permits, as well as managing both digital and physical records.

Key Responsibilities

Review source documents thoroughly to verify accuracy prior to data entry.

Identify, correct, or report data discrepancies to supervisors.

Compile, sort, and verify data to ensure completeness and correctness.

Compare entered data against source documentation to detect errors.

Read and interpret plans, applications, paper files, and other documentation and enter data into designated systems.

Maintain logs of completed work and daily activities.

Store completed documents in appropriate physical or electronic locations.

Download data from the web and import information into database systems.

Run database queries and searches as needed to locate or verify information.

Communicate with supervisors, coworkers, and vendors to resolve unclear or missing information.

Coordinate document or file pick‑up and drop‑off schedules with vendors.

Utilize Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and collaboration tools to manage and share documents.

Apply logic and reasoning to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions.

Manage time effectively while meeting productivity and accuracy expectations.

Continually seek opportunities to improve processes and data quality.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

3 years of professional experience reviewing documents and performing data entry with a focus on accuracy.

3 years of experience compiling, coding, categorizing, auditing, verifying, or tabulating data.

Experience reviewing documentation related to blueprints and/or permits, or comparable detailed documentation (e.g., legal or tax documents).

3 years of experience proactively communicating information via phone, email, written communication, or in person.

2 years of experience running database queries and user searches (e.g., Microsoft Access).

1 year of experience using Adobe Acrobat Professional, including converting Word to PDF, merging PDFs, redacting text, and highlighting content.

3 years of experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

3 years of experience using internet browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Firefox.

Experience using Microsoft Teams for shared file access and document collaboration.

1 year of experience applying logic and reasoning to evaluate alternative solutions or approaches.

Ability to lift and move a full banker’s box (approximately 35 pounds).

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Concord, NH.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $10.00 - $20.00/hr.
