Property Manager - Retail Shopping Centers
Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.

Commercial Property Manager overseeing multiple retail shopping center properties.
Benefits
$80,000–$110,000 base salary.
Discretionary bonus up to 3% pro‑rated to start date.

Responsibilities
Respond to tenant needs; ensure staff resolve problems promptly and maintain compliance with policies and regulations.
Conduct periodic property inspections; recommend and approve alterations, maintenance, and reconditioning.
Contract and supervise vendor services.
Support brokerage department with marketing, leasing, and tenant moves.
Act as primary contact for property owners; prepare timely reports.
Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets; forecast and report variances.
Assist lease administration in rent collection, legal notices, and actions.
Support lease administration with rent and recovery charge reconciliation.
Negotiate early lease terminations; provide lease analysis.
Oversee due diligence for property sales; monitor external brokers.
Build relationships with industry and professional organizations.
Perform other assigned duties.
Provide supervision, recruitment, and performance management of staff.
Mentor and coach team members; lead by example.
Qualifications
Strong financial reporting experience.
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four‑year college or university.
At least 4 years retail/shopping center experience (preferred).
Real estate license preferred but not required.
CPM or RPA designation or candidacy preferred but not required.
Portfolio
5 retail properties; 2 in Tysons, 2 in Alexandria, 1 in southeast DC.
