The South Florida portfolio represents a key focus for the firm, consisting of a concentrated group of multifamily assets across the region, including stabilized communities and assets in lease-up or transition. The platform emphasizes data-driven decision making, disciplined execution, and close collaboration between asset management and property management teams to drive performance.
This Asset Management Associate will be based full-time in Boca Raton, reporting directly into the Managing Director of Asset Management. The role is highly analytical and finance-driven, with a focus on monitoring asset performance, executing business plans, and supporting strategic decision-making across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor asset-level performance against underwriting and business plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Analyze leasing trends, operating expenses, and key performance metrics to drive NOI growth
Partner closely with third-party property management teams to optimize operational performance and execution
Evaluate asset-level capital structures, including debt terms, covenants, and overall capital stack positioning
Perform loan extension tests, refinance analysis, and downside scenario modeling
Support internal and investor reporting, including performance updates and ad hoc financial analysis
Assist in lease-up and stabilization of assets from a financial and reporting perspective
Identify risks and opportunities across the portfolio and provide recommendations to senior leadership
Qualifications
2–5 years of experience within institutional real estate, preferably multifamily
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, or a related field required
Background in asset management, lending/credit, or real estate private equity
Strong financial skillset, including budgeting, financial modeling, and investment analysis
Understanding of capital stacks, debt structures, and loan performance metrics
Experience working with or alongside property management teams and understanding asset-level operations
Ability to operate in a lean, fast-paced environment with a hands-on, ownership mindset
Based in South Florida or strong ties / willingness to relocate
