Job Summary Our client is seeking multiple Mechanical Designers to support ongoing engineering and design initiatives within a fast‑paced manufacturing and automation environment. This is a long‑term contract opportunity offering strong project stability and the chance to work on complex mechanical systems and equipment. The role will focus on supporting design efforts, creating detailed drawings, and collaborating with engineering teams on various mechanical projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and modify mechanical designs and detailed drawings using CAD software
Support engineering teams in the design and development of automated equipment and mechanical systems
Assist with design updates, revisions, and documentation as project needs evolve
Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams
Ensure designs align with project requirements, timelines, and quality standards
Participate in design reviews and provide input on improvements and optimizations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
5–10+ years of experience in mechanical design within a manufacturing or automation environment
Strong proficiency with Inventor (or similar 3D CAD software)
Experience supporting automated equipment or assembly systems is a plus
Ability to work independently and manage multiple design priorities
Comfortable working onsite in a collaborative engineering environment
