
Housing Specialist

Primary Job Functions
Research and compile annual income documentation, medical & pharmacy charges, and general account expenses for HUD tenants through EIV, Integrated Pharmacy statements, and General Ledger Account information within Great Plains
Prepare and submit all background checks within HireRight for all tenants
Prepare and submit all move in and move out documents in RealPage
Prepare and submit annual recertifications
Prepare and submit all interim certifications and gross rent addendums
Prepare and submit monthly vouchers
Prepare and submit annual rent contract renewals via OCAF
Prepare all documentation and coordinate with program managers and AHS Vice President & Chief of Staff to facilitate proper completion of tenant files
Prepare and send out all program specific notifications such as rent increases, inspections, certifications
Regularly audit tenant files to ensure accurate record keeping and documentation
Assist with the compliance related to HUD inspections throughout the year
Print all mandatory EIV reports monthly
Maintain and update HUD and EIV policies
Maintain the HUD Communications shared email
Attend conferences and classes to maintain knowledge and to learn new rules and regulations
Coordinate resident moves with clinical and purchasing teams for community apartments/housing
Work with apartment complex management to obtain leases, renew leases and process rent payments monthly
Other Housing duties as assigned
Grant Reporting
Pull grant employee listing from appropriate folder and add to the grant software, Amplifund
Review payroll dates and request paystubs for the appropriate draw period; add to Amplifund
Pull certified timesheets from Amplifund and add to the appropriate grant folder
Run grant expense reports in Premier for the appropriate draw period and add to Amplifund
Prepare grant payroll based on AltaPointe’s and funding agency rules
Audit grant files to make sure all supporting documents are in the grant file
Other grant duties as assigned
Administrative and Other Related Duties
Actively participates in Performance Improvement Activities
Actively participates in AltaPointe committees as requested
Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner
Treats consumers with dignity and respect
Works in a cooperative manner with other AltaPointe employees
Follows AltaPointe policies and procedures
Receives and responds to inquiries of HUD & Grant matters promptly and courteously
Performs other duties as assigned
Associate’s degree in business or related field. Three to five years of related work experience may be used in lieu of education requirement. Applicant should have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to process and analyze large volumes of electronic data or handwritten data. Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Office, Outlook and Electronic Health Record systems. Has the ability to work independently with minimum supervision and excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Working knowledge of HUD rules and regulations is a plus. Working knowledge of grant preparation is a plus. Knowledge of HIPAA and related compliance is a plus.
