A proudly independent UK-based multinational freight forwarder is expanding its U.S. operations and is seeking an experienced Licensed Customs Broker to join there growing Customs Brokerage team in Nassau County, New York.

This opportunity is ideal for a Customs Broker with 4–6 years of experience who is looking for career progression within a successful and ambitious privately held logistics provider.
The Role As a Licensed Customs Broker, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s U.S. Customs Brokerage and Compliance operations. Working closely with the Imports Manager, you will ensure accurate customs processing while maintaining the highest levels of compliance and service for clients.
This role requires strong technical brokerage expertise, excellent attention to detail, and knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics operations.
Manage customs clearances and commodity classifications across multiple product types
Handle regulatory requirements including FDA, FWS, EPA, IFI, and NOP filings
Process Importer Security Filings (ISF) from A–Z
Support compliance processes including PSC filings and product builder management
Monitor shipment timelines and prioritize based on ETAs
Assist with bond renewals and compliance documentation
✅ Preferred Qualifications
Licensed U.S. Customs Broker
4–6 years of experience in customs brokerage or trade compliance
Experience with CargoWise (preferred)
Strong organizational and workload prioritization skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Exceptional attention to detail
A team-oriented professional
Highly organized and proactive
Fluent in written and spoken English
Passionate about delivering high levels of service and compliance
