
Payment Segment Risk Leader

Summary
The Business Risk Officer reports to the Segment Risk Officer and is the primary colleague responsible for all risk activity within a specific Business Unit(s) (Consumer Lending, Business Banking, Branch Banking, etc.). The role leads a team of Segment Risk Managers and Specialists that manage the risk activity of the specified Business Units.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Managers, SMEs and key partners (Segment Risk, Compliance, Legal, etc.) in support and execution of complex business risk programs supporting segment processes and risk/compliance strategies.
Manage a team that supports a business unit(s) that is more strategic in nature with a larger scope due to growth.
Lead a team of experienced colleagues with higher grade levels.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of related experience
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
Banking knowledge
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to convey ideas verbally and/or in writing with a clear, concise and organized method appropriate for the intended audience
Proficient in managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines
Strong analytical problem‑solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Exempt Status Yes (not eligible for overtime pay)
Workplace Type Office. Certain positions outside the branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement, combining in‑office and remote work. Remote roles will also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for moments that matter. Specific work arrangements will be provided by the hiring team.
