For nearly three decades, 686 has been developing, testing and engineering technical outerwear and apparel with the goal to build the best performance products with our active-minded community. We foster community and experiences through our products all in the spirit of innovation and independence. We are seeking a highly motivated, well organized and experienced National Key Account Manager
to expand the 686 brand by growing our existing in-house sales channels and opening new accounts. Ideally, this candidate will be located in the greater Southern California / Los Angeles / Orange County area and will come to the office three days per week, but there may be flexibility if needed. Responsibilities
In-house sales and relationship management - Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts by providing meaningful account support and customer service to expand the partnership and develop category channels. Strategic account development - Develop and execute strategic plans that align partner goals with company objectives, including timelines, milestones, and risk management. Sales and revenue growth - Identify opportunities in existing and new accounts to increase revenue and achieve sales targets within assigned accounts. Sales leadership - Drive, manage, and support sales agents to achieve sales goals with a focus on brand sustainability and overall account health. Cross-functional collaboration - Align with company and sales leaders to ensure goals are focused and achievable, provide operational support and customer service to accounts as needed, and have an all-in approach to team collaboration. Requirements
Must have a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in-house sales of company key accounts, management of sales agents, customer service and/or outside sales rep within the Snow Sports, Action Sports, Outdoor Lifestyle and/or Clothing industries. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including consistent follow-through and detail orientation, with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently. Must be results oriented with the ability to motivate others, achieve goals, build strong business relationships, have good negotiating skills, take initiative, and work well in a team environment. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft 365, MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Asana, Full Circle, Slack. Position also includes travel. The expected compensation for this role is $100,000-$130,000 plus commission.
