Market Sector Expertise, Planning and Execution Marketing Coordinators are responsible for assisting the Marketing Director in the Market Playbook Process and implementing Market Playbooks once they are complete. They are expected to be market segment experts and be on top of all activity that occurs within their segments. They are responsible and accountable for:

Developing a deep understanding of assigned market segments both from an external standpoint and internal project information.

Assisting with the market playbook process, including determining team members, setting meetings, providing input, understanding and assessing strategy, performing research and recording feedback.

Driving implementation of market playbooks aligned with the strategy that has been set, including tactic recommendation, setting team meeting schedules, defining deadlines, and working with creative services and graphic designers to create market‑centric content.

Performing segment research and client research based on marketing template.

Project Development Marketing Coordinators are responsible for leading the development of all RSP responses, including strategic thinking and effective project management of all pursuits. They must communicate the process clearly to all team members in order to keep diverse project teams informed and on track. This includes:

Logging all new opportunities into the database and continuing to update as new information becomes available.

Facilitating go
o‑go process and/or strategy kick‑off meetings and providing proposal strategy to teams that is aligned with RSP enterprise messaging.

Completing the proposal briefing template and outlining a clear project plan for each proposal, including setting all deadlines with teams, defining concurrent deadlines, clearly communicating, obtaining and organizing content for graphic designers, and managing expectations with the pursuit team.

Ensuring all content is accurate, proofing has been performed, and brand guidelines have been observed.

Relationship Management Marketing Coordinators are responsible for building and maintaining “trusted‑partner” relationships with clients, consultants, team members, and RSP support staff critical to the successful delivery of their projects and the well‑being of RSP. This includes:

Working closely with the Director of Marketing, Director of Business Development, Creative Director, Marketing Manager, and account/studio managers to support the strategic vision and plan for our market sectors.

Assisting the Creative Director as needed to develop and execute appropriate, targeted communications based on strategic market sector plans.

Confer[ing] with legal staff to resolve problems, such as copyright infringement and royalty sharing with outside producers and distributors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

5–10 years of experience in the A/E/C industry strongly preferred.

Background supporting industrial and mission‑critical projects is ideal.

Some government contracting experience is helpful (but not required).

Outward‑facing personality with strong communication skills.

Comfortable working with confidential pursuits (no non‑competes involved).

Tools & Technology: Bloombean (proposal software), Excel required.

Prior experience with proposal systems strongly preferred.

Mission‑critical terminology can be learned if the candidate has the right foundation.

Job Type & Location Permanent position based out of Baltimore, MD. Hybrid position in Baltimore, MD.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $85,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year. Base salary + annual bonus. ESOP program: Company contributes a percentage of annual profits into employee ownership, converted to stock value annually (each July). 401(k) with 5% company match.
