
Director of Supply Chain and Logistics

Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Strategy & Vision: Develop and implement supply chain vision and strategies to support future growth, including demand planning, production planning, materials planning, warehouse management, transportation, and 3PL management. Drive consensus through collaborative S&OP processes.
Forecasting & Logistics: Develop and implement forecasting, capacity, deployment, and logistics strategies for existing business and new opportunities. Oversee procurement processes and maintain a robust supply base with strong partnerships.
Warehouse & Inventory Management: Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping. Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.
Transportation & 3PL Management: Manage transportation logistics, including carrier selection, route optimization, freight cost management, and on-time delivery performance. Manage relationships and performance of third-party logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring service level agreements are met, and continuous improvement initiatives are implemented.
Continuous Improvement & Cost Reduction: Develop and implement strategies to reduce supply chain and logistics costs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and execute processes to drive sustainable improvements.
Operations Commercialization: Drive execution of the operations commercialization process to ensure successful launches of new products.
Metrics & Financial Commitments: Develop processes and metrics that optimize inventory levels aligned with customer service levels, working capital targets, and logistics efficiency. Deliver area financial commitments to business operating plans, financial cycles, and medium-term financial updates.
Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop department staff to maximize productivity, maintain high team morale, and promote a positive culture across planning, warehouse, transportation, and logistics teams.
Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert in MRP, warehouse management, transportation, and 3PL, building best-in-class processes and practices.
Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in supply chain, logistics, or transportation. MBA preferred.
15+ years of operations planning experience within a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment is desirable.
5+ years of leading and developing S&OP, warehouse, transportation, or 3PL processes.
Planning, logistics, or S&OP certifications (APICS, IBF, CSCMP, or equivalent) a plus.
Strong knowledge of Word and Excel or ERP, MRP, and PLM enterprise systems.
Technical Competencies
Knowledge of ERP, MRP, and PLM enterprise systems.
Experience with warehouse management, transportation logistics, and 3PL operations.
Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
Core Competencies
Strategic thinking and ability to design cross-functional supply chain frameworks.
Facilitation and meeting management skills for S&OP and operational teams.
Strong attention to detail with a systematic approach to process documentation and compliance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for translating complex supply chain processes into clear, actionable procedures.
Change management expertise with experience driving organizational adoption of new processes.
Leadership capabilities with influence across functional boundaries.
Work Location & Travel Requirements
Hybrid from our Londonderry, NH Headquarters, fully remote, or located at other Pharmavite locations.
If located outside of Londonderry, monthly travel to our Headquarters is expected.
Compensation And Benefits National Target Base Pay Range: $169,000.00 - $281,000.00. For candidates in California and the New York metro, the Target Base Pay Range is $187,000.00 - $311,000.00, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas. Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications, and job-related skills. Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment. Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K match, and other wellness benefits. Pharmavite provides compensation for all overtime hours worked by non-exempt (hourly) employees in accordance with state and federal law. The need to work overtime hours will be determined by management, based on customer and business necessity, to meet the needs of our business. Pharmavite may require employees to work overtime.
