Product Marketing Analyst, Core Protections
McAfee is seeking a Product Marketing Analyst to support the evolution of our core cybersecurity protections. In this role, you will help ensure our foundational security capabilities remain credible, differentiated, and clearly communicated to customers as online threats continue to evolve. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate technical innovation into clear customer value.
This is a Hybrid position located in Frisco, TX. You will be required to be onsite on an as‑needed basis, typically 1 to 6 times a month. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to one of Frisco, Texas and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.
About this role: Support Core Protection Positioning
Maintain messaging, positioning, and value frameworks for McAfee’s foundational protections.
Help ensure core capabilities are communicated clearly and consistently across product, marketing, and customer touchpoints.
Translate technical protection capabilities into simple, benefit‑driven customer language.
Partner on Product Innovation
Collaborate with Product Management to help inform roadmap prioritization through market insights and competitive analysis.
Work with engineering and threat research teams to understand how protections perform and evolve as new threats emerge.
Support the ongoing differentiation and credibility of McAfee’s protection technologies.
Shape In‑Product Communication
Partner with UX and Product teams to develop intuitive, value‑forward in‑app messaging and experiences that help customers understand and activate key protections.
Contribute to messaging and flows that improve adoption, clarity, and trust in our security features.
Monitor the Competitive Landscape
Track competitive baselines across major security providers to ensure McAfee’s protections remain competitive and well‑positioned.
Maintain competitive documentation and insights that support product, marketing, and sales teams.
Bring Market & Threat Insights
Monitor emerging threats, customer feedback, and industry trends to help ensure our protections remain relevant and market leading.
Surface insights that inform messaging updates, feature prioritization, and innovation opportunities.
Measure Product Experience Impact
Track key experience metrics such as activation rates, feature engagement, completion rates, NPS themes, and support drivers.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities to improve adoption and customer understanding of protections.
About You
4+ years in product marketing or related fields, ideally in SaaS, or consumer businesses.
Eager to learn, take ownership, and grow product marketing expertise in a fast‑moving environment.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, benefits‑led narratives.
Solid cross‑functional experience with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret product usage data, customer feedback, and market trends.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
