
Real Estate Associate - Junior to Midlevel - Seattle, Bellevue, or Portland

Position Overview
The Real Property Practice Group of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP seeks a transactional real estate associate attorney. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience with commercial real estate transactions, such as acquisitions and sales, dispositions, commercial leasing, real property secured financing, real estate joint ventures and land development projects. Demonstrated experience or a strong interest in lender‑side real estate financing is preferred. Candidates should have strong title, survey and related real‑estate due diligence experience, a track record of responsibility for closing deals, and an ability to work with our paralegals and team members located in other offices. Candidates should have prior law firm experience and a commitment to working in that environment.
Qualifications This is a great opportunity for a confident, self‑motivated individual with a demonstrated ability to handle matters independently and a desire to assist our client teams in more complex transactions. Applicants should be comfortable working in a team environment as well as having the ability to handle significant individual responsibilities for more than one supervising attorney.
Salary and Benefits The annualized salary range for this position in Washington is $215,000 to $330,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate's education, training, experience and other job‑related factors permitted by law. Full‑time employees may be eligible for a bonus and health insurance with an optional HSA, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, healthcare and dependent care flexible spending accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, 10 paid holidays each year and an employee assistance program. For full‑time employees, the initial sick leave benefit is 80 hours of sick leave per year. Attorneys generally take approximately three weeks of vacation from work each year, and it may vary depending on the needs of the clients and the firm. Additional voluntary benefits programs include voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long‑term care, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance and pet insurance. Commuter and transit programs are also available.
