Property Manager | Co-op, Condo and Rental Portfolio

A well-regarded Manhattan property management firm is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a residential portfolio of co-ops, condos, and rentals. This individual will serve as a primary point of contact for boards, residents, and ownership while ensuring building operations run smoothly across multiple properties. The role will support both existing assignments and new properties expected to come on board over time.
Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations across an assigned residential portfolio. Maintain consistent communication with boards, owners, residents, and internal stakeholders.
Board Relations Prepare for and attend board meetings, manage follow-up items, and help keep annual calendars, communications, and action items on track.
Operations & Maintenance Coordinate vendors, building staff, service requests, and property improvement initiatives. Ensure issues are handled promptly, professionally, and with strong follow-through.
Compliance Oversee compliance matters, including DOB, HPD, and FDNY requirements, inspections, filings, and deadlines for assigned buildings.
Work closely with accounting and leadership on budgets, arrears, monthly reporting, invoicing, and related property administration.
Resident Communication Handle tenant and owner inquiries with professionalism, responsiveness, and sound judgment.
Candidate Profile
5+ years of NYC residential property management experience
Strong co-op and condo experience required
Ability to manage rental properties as the portfolio grows
Confident operator with solid board facing, compliance, and financial coordination skills
Organized, proactive, and steady under pressure
Clear communicator who can build trust with boards, residents, vendors, and ownership
Compensation
Competitive base salary depending on experience
