We are seeking a
Job Captain
to support our integrated team through strong technical execution, coordination, and ownership of project documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, motivated to grow, and can contribute meaningfully to both design and construction processes while continuing to develop their leadership and technical skills.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead the production and coordination of project drawing sets across all phases.
Develop and manage the Revit model to ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals.
Coordinate with consultants and internal team members to resolve design and documentation challenges.
Support project execution by maintaining organized project files and managing day-to-day documentation tasks.
Participate in and support Construction Administration efforts, including submittal review and field coordination.
Conduct project-specific code research and apply findings to design and documentation.
Prepare graphics, renderings, and materials for client and internal presentations.
Organize and participate in project meetings, document meeting minutes and action items.
Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field staff to address constructability and coordination issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited school
5 - 7 years of relevant professional experience
Proficiency in Revit with the ability to produce and coordinate contract documents
Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection software preferred
Working knowledge of construction documentation, detailing, and building systems
Basic understanding of building codes and permitting processes
Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with minimal direction
Willingness and ability to travel as needed
Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow within an integrated design-build environment
