Role & Responsibilities The Outbound SDR generates new opportunities by initiating conversations with companies that fit our ideal client profile and scheduling qualified discovery meetings for the owner.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily outbound prospecting via phone, email, and structured outreach sequences.
Qualify prospects based on business fit and readiness for conversation.
Schedule first‑time appointments on the owner's calendar.
Maintain accurate CRM notes, activity tracking, and follow‑up workflows.
Support multi‑touch outreach campaigns including email and occasional direct mail.
Collaborate to refine messaging, targeting, and campaign effectiveness.
Success is measured by the consistency of activity and quality of meetings generated.
Day in the Life You start your morning reviewing a targeted prospect list and begin outreach conversations with business owners and office managers. Some calls are quick introductions; others uncover real challenges with IT responsiveness or security concerns.
Throughout the day, you send follow‑up emails, track conversations in the CRM, and schedule discovery meetings for companies that align with CoreSouth's services.
You periodically connect with the owner to share insights about messaging that resonates and refine outreach strategy. By the end of the week, your efforts result in several qualified meetings that help build a predictable growth pipeline.
Who You Are You are comfortable initiating conversations and maintaining consistent outreach activities while staying organized and professional.
Preferred Qualifications
0‑2+ years' experience in outbound sales, appointment setting, or customer outreach.
Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with business professionals.
Organized and consistent with follow‑up activity.
Comfortable using CRM tools and tracking metrics.
Located within reasonable distance of Macon, GA for 1‑2 in‑office days weekly.
Nice To Have
B2B sales or lead generation experience.
Exposure to IT services, SaaS, or professional services industries.
Compensation & Work Structure Compensation is aligned with regional benchmarks for appointment‑setting roles.
Compensation
Commission tied to qualified held appointments.
On‑target earnings (OTE): $60,000–$65,000.
Work Environment
Hybrid role (primarily remote, 1‑2 days/week in Macon office).
Company‑provided laptop and tools.
