Cordero & Associates is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal to join our growing legal team in Coral Gables, FL. This position involves working on a variety of employment-based and family-based immigration matters.
We are looking for a motivated professional who is passionate about helping clients navigate the immigration process and achieving successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with preparation and filing of immigration petitions and applications Handle a range of cases, including employment-based and family-based matters Prepare and file forms such as I-140, I-130, I-485, I-539, and I-864 Support employment-based cases, including exposure to PERM labor certification processes Communicate with clients to collect required documentation and information Maintain organized and accurate case files Draft legal correspondence and supporting documents Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely submissions Provide consistent and professional client communication throughout the process Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of immigration law experience (required) Knowledge of employment-based/business immigration processes, including PERM, preferred Experience with a variety of immigration case types preferred Familiarity with USCIS forms and procedures Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) required Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Job Type:
