About the Role
The Manager of Brand & Communications will lead the brand, product, communications, and content strategy for AVESTAN, protecting its unique values and positioning.
Reporting to AVESTAN’s Brand Director, the role involves working closely with AVESTAN’s retail and creative teams, building strong cross‑functional relationships across the DECIEM group, and requires global travel to AVESTAN locations worldwide.
The position is hybrid (3 days on site) and based out of our NYC office.
Pay Range Base salary: $85,000 – $100,000, depending on experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary may vary by geographic location.
Key Responsibilities
Develop an ownable tone of voice and ensure consistency across all AVESTAN touchpoints.
Deliver quality brand materials, guidelines, and assets.
Execute a global communications strategy aligned with AVESTAN’s founding values.
Oversee external communications agencies when necessary.
Collaborate with the Head of Brand Experience, Creative team, and wider DECIEM affiliates.
Secure high‑quality storytelling for AVESTAN and maintain strong media and tastemaker relationships.
Lead the social media presence, monitor community engagement, and drive conversation.
Partner with cross‑functional teams (Scientific, Digital, Retail, Supply Chain, Finance) to grow brand equity and identify opportunities globally.
Support the Commercial team in creating sell‑in materials, pitch decks, and distribution planning.
Serve as the key point of contact, updating stakeholders and soliciting feedback as needed.
Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience in Brand Management, Communications, or Marketing.
Proven track record of creating and executing go‑to‑market and communications strategies focused on earned media.
Experience managing a conceptual brand or project.
Strong brand messaging and owned content strategy skills.
Up‑to‑date knowledge of the evolving global social media landscape.
Established media contacts and a solid grasp of the creator and tastemaker space.
