Interim Director of Physical Therapy
Start Date: ASAP. Pay Rate: $150,000 - $165,000 annually.
Responsibilities
Provide hands‑on leadership for the physical therapy department during a leadership transition.
Report to the Chief Nursing Officer and oversee a team of six full‑time employees.
Lead daily department operations, ensuring patient care coverage and effective monitoring of evaluations and progress.
Support weekend coverage as required and assist the team in preparing for upcoming regulatory activity.
Requirements
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
Prior leadership experience in physical therapy; willingness to remain clinically involved and support weekend coverage.
Highly organized, patient‑focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs.
Excellent communication skills.
Availability to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.
Compensation
Annual base salary: $150,000 – $165,000, based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations.
