About the Role As a Visual Merchandiser, you will contribute to an inspiring, elevated, and consistent customer experience by implementing visual standards and commercial excellence. Your responsibilities include executing visual, commercial, and styling curation according to store guidelines, using trend and competitor awareness to provide accurate information, coaching, up‑skilling, and developing the store team to enhance the customer experience.

A Day in the Life Customer Sales & Profit

Contribute to the total omni‑customer experience by ensuring visual and commercial curation according to guidelines.

Represent yourself and the H&M Brand positively during customer interactions.

Organise and plan your workload according to the store activation plan and adapt based on business needs in collaboration with Store Management and the Area Visual Manager.

Launch and maintain the latest global campaigns and sale activities on time according to H&M Brand Standards.

Ensure good garment care, maintain stock levels, and provide input on allocation.

Perform sales report (KPIs) follow‑up and identify and prioritise visual & commercial opportunities in collaboration with Store Management.

Create efficient actions to increase customer satisfaction and reach sales targets, store goals, and budgets.

Follow all procedures, best practices for omni‑services, operational routines, legal requirements, and communication throughout the store.

Fashion & Trend Awareness

Keep up‑to‑date with fashion scene, trends, styles, products, brands, competitors, and relevant influencers.

Plan time for fashion & trend awareness to understand trend theory and mood boards for styling techniques and product presentation.

Team & Development

Share, inspire and educate store teams, keeping them updated with seasonal changes, fashion trends, visual & commercial information, and in‑store communication.

Coach and develop the Store team’s visual and commercial skills to secure high‑quality product & commercial presentation according to guidelines.

Support daily routines and best practices for the Store team to maintain a consistent level of visual & commercial standard while engaging customers.

Develop and coach talent and provide onboarding training to new colleagues.

Organise, provide, and carry out visual & commercial up‑skilling for you and the Store team.

Complete Visual Competencies & Commercial 4 All trainings based on regional and sales‑market learning goals.

Support Sales Market and Area teams with expansion (store projects) needs.

Visual & Commercial Execution

Execute visual & commercial curation & styling for the store based on the commercial calendar, allocation, activation plan and fashion trends.

Carry out sample‑picking best‑practice routines, including stockroom garment quantities, accessories, and shoes.

Secure window & styling execution to create an inspirational customer experience.

Maintain commercial layout and fixtures to secure the best trend story placement.

Ensure consistent price signage in windows and throughout the store following global strategy and sales‑market requirements.

Collaborate with Facilities Management to ensure all lighting works correctly and highlights products.

Maintain display forms and interior materials with sustainability in mind.

Keep the store navigation updated according to the latest guidelines and layout.

Ensure adequate quantities of sale and other activity materials, including POS, according to local routines.

Keep the sales floor and back‑of‑house clean, organised, and safe.

Qualifications

Curiouser, creative, proactive, solution‑focused, flexible with effective communication skills.

Fashion interests and leadership skills to apply visual and commercial experience in a dynamic environment.

Experience improving product presentation and commercial execution in-store.

Good knowledge of visual, commercial, and operational best practices, routines, and tools.

Ability to manage, follow‑up, and act on selling equations and weekly sales reports.

Additional Information Compensation: expected base salary range is 19.78‑23.58 hourly.
