
Sr. Real Estate Specialist/Appraisal Specialist, Office of Real Estate, PN 20065

What You Will Be Doing
Work with staff to learn eminent domain and the appraisal process
Learn applicable appraisal compliance, laws and regulations
Provide production support to District Staff with all aspects of valuation, appraisal, and cost estimating
Receive and eventually provide hands‑on training to District Staff
Who We Are Looking For
Experience in eminent domain appraisal preferred; or 1+ years of commercial real estate experience
Desire to learn and grow within the appraisal discipline
Ability to use critical thinking and learn complex appraisal issues in compliance with laws and regulations
Self‑motivated worker with the ability to efficiently manage assignments
Ability to communicate complex issues and provide feedback to staff and consultants

48 months training or 48 months experience in real estate, property management or related field; travel required, must be able to provide own transportation.
Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration real estate or property management or related field; 24 months training or 24 months experience in real estate or property management or related field; travel required, must be able to provide own transportation.
Or 12 months experience as Real Estate Specialist, 84592.
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

Compensation: $30.55 – $44.74 per hour
Schedule: Full-time (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
