POSITIONSUMMARY All Marketing Interns will support the execution of marketing, sales and event initiatives within a live entertainment, theme & water park environment. While each role has a primary concentration, interns will also be expected to collaborate across teams and assist wherever needed. This internship provides hands‑on experience in Marketing with an emphasis on social media and digital content development. Interns will contribute to planning, execution and performance analysis of content across multiple platforms, while gaining exposure to broader Marketing & Group Sales initiatives, special events and park operations.

SHARED RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the planning and execution of all marketing and sales initiatives

Provide on-site support for events, promotions and brand activations

Deliver excellent guest service via email, phone and in-person by responding to guest questions, comments and concerns

Maintain awareness of park offerings, ticket products, operating schedules and special events to ensure accurate guest-facing communication

Collaborate with cross-departmental teams including Operations, Revenue, Maintenance, Park Leadership and more

Maintain a clean, safe and professional work environment

Perform other duties as assigned

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the planning, development and scheduling of social media content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok

Contribute to writing captions, short form copy, blog posts and promotional messaging for ticket campaigns and park events

Capture and publish real-time social content during park operations, events and activations

Assist with planning and executing content shoots to support ongoing needs

Organize, tag and maintain the park’s photo and video asset library

Maintain and update a database of content creators, influencers and brand partners

Coordinate content creator visits, including pre-visit communication, on-site support and post-visit performance tracking

Track and compile basic social media performance metrics, providing insights and recaps

Help update website content related to events, promotions and announcements

Uphold brand voice, tone and visual consistency across all channels

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Strong understanding of current social media trends, formats and platform best practices

Experience creating short‑form video content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts)

Basic photo and video editing capabilities

Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools

Ability to capture content in fast‑paced, outdoor or live event environments

Comfortable appearing on camera or directing on‑camera talent as needed

Interest in influencer marketing, social media and/or digital storytelling

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years old

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising or a related field of study; or be in the process of earning a bachelor's degree in a related area of study

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Familiar with Microsoft Office programs, major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and TikTok) and Canva or other basic design tools

Ability to work in fast‑paced, guest-facing environments

Able to work independently and with a team

Must possess oral and written English skills and must be able to communicate with Guests and other Team Members effectively

May be required to work in various weather conditions

Available holidays and weekends

Available to work overtime and have flexible work hours

Requires manual and bi‑manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech

Possess normal or average corrected hearing. (Defined as 25 decibels or better in the frequency range of 500 Hz‑4000 Hz considered normal speech frequency range) (If a corrective device is needed to achieve this range, it must be worn while on duty)
