Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for directing the Quality Management System through interaction with the QMS/SQA representative
Develop, maintain, and report the results of the Cost of Quality (COQ) initiative including required counter measures to reduce the risk of reoccurrence.
Assess customer satisfaction and report to the executive management.
Direct and mentor the entire Visioneering staff on adherence to Visioneering's quality objectives, goals, policies, and procedures.
Plan, manage, and monitor Quality activities relating to receiving, In-process and final inspection, in accordance with internal and external customer requirements.
Supervise the Quality Assurance staff, including performance appraisals training and guidance in professional development.
Analyze departmental resource supply and demand and manage the staffing needs with either internal or external resources
Participate in corporate strategic planning with the senior management staff.
Make capital equipment recommendations to maintain or improve deliverable performance, competitiveness within the market or to support resource demands.
Adherence to the Quality departmental budgets relative to supplies, capital equipment, and repairs.
Minimum Skills and Competencies:
Excellent and effective written and verbal communication and time management skills.
ISO/AS literacy
GD&T/FT&A
Effective problem-solving capabilities
Multi-tasking
Master blueprint reading skills
Minimum Education:
4-year degree or equivalent industry experience
Minimum Experience:
5 years Aerospace Tooling experience
5 years of a minimum of middle management experience
10 years of manufacturing experience preferably in a job shop environment
Minimum Requirements:
