Responsibilities Your Role as a Senior Living Advisor includes supporting Assisted Living & Memory Care outreach and sales efforts. You’ll build trusted relationships, guide families through important decisions, and help ensure the communities you support achieve occupancy goals. This is a field-based role with up to 75% travel, offering autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to shape your results through meaningful connection and follow-through.
What You’ll Do Sales & Occupancy Strategy
Analyze community sales needs, lead volume, and market opportunities
Evaluate trends such as selling cycles, conversion rates, and occupancy metrics
Recommend and execute actions that support full occupancy and a strong payer mix
Prospect & Relationship Management
Conduct first appointments to uncover needs and guide families through the decision-making process
Build strong, trusting relationships with prospects, families, and referral partners
Validate and qualify leads and accurately track prospects on the sales activity board
Maintain timely, accurate notes and next steps in the CRM system
Driving Move-Ins
Move prospects effectively through the sales journey: Inquiry → Discovery → Decision → Scheduled Move-In
Collaborate with the Executive Director and regional leadership to ensure a seamless move-in experience
Maintain strong awareness of competitive offerings and local market trends
Reporting & Collaboration
Participate in weekly sales board calls with the Executive Director and Operations leadership
Report on lead movement, next steps, and progress toward monthly occupancy goals
Qualifications
Minimum 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
Senior living sales experience preferred; at least one year strongly desired
Background in sales, marketing, healthcare, or senior care a plus
Strong communication, relationship-building, and follow-through skills
Ability to work independently and manage a dynamic, travel-heavy schedule
Comfort with up to 75% travel
Passion for serving seniors and representing Americare with professionalism, compassion, and heart
Physical & Work Environment
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs.
Push/pull up to 100 lbs. and assist with wheelchair mobility up to 350 lbs.
Operate a vehicle safely for travel across an assigned region
Use PPE and follow safety policies as required
