Sr Principal Product Owner - Enterprise Integration Services

Keurig Dr Pepper, San Francisco, CA, United States

Job Overview Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a

Sr. Principal Product Owner

to lead the Enterprise Integration Services product within our Data & Analytics Agile Release Train (ART). This role owns the integration portfolio that connects KDP’s enterprise systems — spanning secure file transfer (SFTP), middleware for major programs, API services, and modern data integration patterns including Delta Sharing, CDC, and real-time APIs.

You will shape the product vision and roadmap for integration services that underpin critical business programs while driving modernization toward API‑first architecture and cloud‑native integration patterns. This is a high‑visibility role at the intersection of enterprise data strategy and operational execution, managing a blended team of internal platform engineers and external development resources across multiple integration platforms (MuleSoft, Informatica, Seeburger, SSIS).

KDP’s Data & Analytics organization operates within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment. This team specifically uses a Scrumban operating model — blending Kanban’s flow‑based work management with Scrum’s structured ceremonies. As a Sr. Principal Product Owner, you will be a vital player in KDP’s agile transformation, driving a lean‑agile mindset and learning culture. You will provide mentorship and guidance to other Product Owners and be instrumental in shaping product strategy across the Enterprise Data Services portfolio.

SAFe & Agile Leadership

Actively participate in PI Planning and ART ceremonies:

Prepare and present the team’s PI objectives, negotiate capacity and commitments, identify cross‑team dependencies, and manage risks during PI Planning events. Participate in Inspect & Adapt, System Demos, and ART Sync to ensure alignment across the Enterprise Data Services portfolio.

Own and continuously refine the team backlog in a SAFe context:

Translate Features from the Program Backlog into well‑defined, prioritized user stories with clear value hypotheses and acceptance criteria. Apply WSJF (Weighted Shortest Job First) or similar lean prioritization to balance business value, time criticality, and risk reduction. Maintain a healthy backlog that is ready at least two iterations ahead.

Drive Scrumban execution and flow:

Lead the team’s Scrumban operating model — managing WIP limits, optimizing cycle time, and using cumulative flow diagrams and throughput metrics to improve predictability. Facilitate iteration planning, daily standups, iteration reviews, and retrospectives.

Champion the lean‑agile mindset across the team:

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, built‑in quality, and fast feedback loops. Coach team members on agile principles and practices. Mentor other Product Owners within the ART on backlog management, stakeholder engagement, and value delivery.

Manage cross‑team dependencies within the ART:

Proactively identify and resolve dependencies with peer teams (Data Lake, Data Management) during PI Planning and throughout execution. Use the program board and dependency tracking to ensure integration deliverables are not blocked by or blocking other teams.

Product & Technical Ownership

Own the Integration Services product roadmap:

Define and prioritize across SFTP security and modernization, transaction program middleware (UNITE/KONA/Maverick), business integration services, and API gateway modernization. Balance operational stability for 18+ ongoing integration streams with forward‑looking platform evolution. Align the roadmap to PI cadence and present a clear vision at each PI Planning event.

Drive integration architecture modernization:

Lead the shift from legacy file‑based and batch integration patterns toward API‑first, event‑driven, and cloud‑native approaches. Partner with Solution Architects to define non‑functional requirements and platform standards for API, ETL, and EDI services.

Enable cross‑platform data connectivity:

As KDP builds its Databricks Lakehouse and Salesforce Data Cloud capabilities, own the integration patterns that connect them — Delta Sharing configuration, CDC pipelines (MuleSoft/Fivetran), real‑time API integration, and reverse‑sync feedback loops. Ensure integration architecture supports both batch and real‑time data flows across the enterprise.

Manage a blended delivery team:

Lead a team of internal KDP platform engineers and external development resources operating in a Scrumban model. Set clear priorities, manage capacity across multiple concurrent programs, and ensure quality delivery across MuleSoft, Informatica, Seeburger, and SSIS platforms.

Deeply understand business strategy and make critical product decisions:

Ensure the integration team has a solid understanding of the product strategy in order to effectively execute and meet objectives and goals. Make and influence decisions that impact the integration product, including investment decisions (e.g., platform upgrades, security investments). Apply a broader understanding of market trends, customer needs, and business objectives to set strategic direction.

Champion the voice of the customer:

Continuously identify improvement opportunities and methods to enhance the product team’s processes and quality standards. Ensure the needs of internal customers — business units, transaction program stakeholders, and peer data teams — are incorporated into the product solution.

Drive operational excellence:

Own reliability targets (99%+ uptime for critical integrations), security posture (zero critical vulnerabilities), and delivery quality (100% UAT pass rate for transaction programs). Ensure operational continuity during major program cutovers.
