Job Overview As Instructional Designer, you will create and maintain training content for Brivo’s customers and employees. You will assess training needs and develop learning content that supports business growth. A cover letter and portfolio are required to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Execute the ADDIE course creation lifecycle for external‑facing content

Collaborate with SMEs across departments to determine needs

Partner with other teams to ensure content is technically accurate and relevant

Create concise, clear storyboards when requested

Design and develop engaging learning content (e‑learning, instructional videos, microlearning) using various authoring tools

Create objective‑aligned knowledge checks to measure learner ability to apply key concepts

Iteratively review and update content using learner feedback and product launch details

Launch and manage content in our LMS

Execute the Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation steps of ADDIE for internal‑facing content, working closely with the Manager, Sales Enablement and other teams

Write engaging content, including stories and use cases, for immersive e‑learning experiences

Proactively research and adapt to trends, learning new multimedia and learning management features and tools

Work independently and communicate effectively to set and meet realistic deadlines

Collaborate with the Training & Enablement team to organize content in Google Drive and Salesforce Knowledge

Utilize Generative AI tools to scale content creation, enhancing scriptwriting, use‑case development, course summaries, and assessments

Support additional T&E initiatives as needed, in a collaborative spirit

Qualifications

Experience with Articulate Rise and Storyline (required)

Experience with Camtasia or similar video tools (required)

Experience with LMSs (e.g., LearnUpon) (required)

Experience working with xAPI files (required)

Outstanding writing, editing, time‑management, communication, and attention to detail (required)

Proven experience in creating engaging, practical learning for adult learners using industry‑standard methodologies (required)

Experience utilizing ADDIE (required)

Ability to translate complex concepts into visually appealing, digestible content (required)

Experience delivering multi‑modal trainings, detailed course design documents, implementation strategies, and program evaluations (required)

Experience utilizing AI tools to optimize workflow efficiency (required)

Preferred Skills

Conduct and analyze results of needs and/or gap analyses (preferred)

Experience in the technology or security industry (preferred)

Experience with Asana or similar project management systems (preferred)

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)

Experience with Google Suite and Apple products (preferred)

Experience creating learning videos and animations (preferred)

Understanding of the SaaS sales cycle, sales enablement, and creating related sales training content (preferred)

Cover letter and a link to an interactive portfolio containing at least one Articulate Storyline, one Articulate Rise, and one video project are required for this position
