Inbound Sales Representative
Job Type:
Full‑time
Salary:
$45,000-$65,000
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain individual goals and objectives as provided on a quarterly basis
Assist customers with appropriate product selection and take sales orders
Guide customers through the website and order process effectively
Process quotes, sales orders, and returns accurately and efficiently
Contribute ideas on ways to resolve problems to better serve the customer and/ or improve productivity
Maintain current knowledge of lighting, patio and home decor products to help customers make their selection
Build rapport with customers by greeting them in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using procedures learned during new‑hire training
Ensure that customers understand product information and provide additional information to customers as needed
Handle phone‑in customers with pleasant telephone etiquette and courtesy
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Customer service and call center experience preferred
Clear understanding of sales and customer service principles
A strong grasp of Internet navigation
Ability to multi‑task in multiple electronic media
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to work weekend and overtime schedules, which may include various holidays
Skills and Traits:
Efficient use of internal email and other communication systems to keep current in job knowledge and department directives
Staying informed with changes in company business policies or practices
Urgency to ensure a resolution for customer problems or internal items that need follow up
Make solid effort to score well on product and customer service training
Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills
Strong analytical and decision‑making skills
