Location: Greenfield, IN (On-site, Design Studio)

Their team works closely with homebuyers from concept to completion, making the design experience personal, creative, and highly collaborative. This role is a great fit for someone who loves helping clients make selections that feel both beautiful and practical.
Joyner Homes is seeking a New Home Design Consultant to guide new homebuyers through interior and exterior selections for their new home. This role blends design coordination, customer service, organization, and creativity. The right person will be able to understand a client's style and budget, keep selections on trend and budget, manage detailed documentation, and help maintain an inspiring design studio environment.
Key Responsibilities
Meet with customers to determine interior and exterior selections for their home
Advise customers on selections that align with style, budget, and current trends
Prepare non-standard option pricing requests for Purchasing
Create full selection documents, including plan adjustments, sketches, and exhibits
Coordinate with suppliers to keep studio materials current and on trend
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and labeling of the Design Studio
Request product samples and updated materials from suppliers
Update schedules and task lists in construction software
Assist with social media and marketing initiatives as needed
Support a smooth, positive customer experience throughout the selection process
Support additional design and coordination tasks as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
Prior design experience or relevant education preferred
Strong eye for interior design and current trends
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Organized, self-motivated, and goal-driven
Strong problem-solving and time management abilities
Positive attitude and team-player mindset
Functional computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook
Creative instinct and ability to translate ideas into cohesive selections
Pay And Benefits
Full-time, W-2 employment
Pay: $25 to $30 per hour, based on experience
15 days PTO
