
CORP MARKETING/COPY DIRECTOR

Responsible for writing content for all Customer Communications products, as assigned, on time, with little guidance and few revisions. Works closely with all Creative and Marketing teams to translate business strategies into compelling creative solutions that connect deeply with customers. Responsible for maintaining copy standards and guidelines for all customer communication. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Responsibilities
Write copy for all Customer Communications and for word-of mouth, as needed
Review all creative work in accordance with QA process, ensuring correct style, voice and adherence to guidelines, ensuring each piece meets objectives set by creative brief
Help establish and oversee best practices for writing and company brand standards across all channels, with a focus on Brand marketing and Digital Media
Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to incorporate copy planning into the execution of marketing initiatives for assigned business units and/or the enterprise
Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Qualifications Minimum
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism or related field or equivalent professional experience
7+ years' experience in agency, publishing, public relations, marketing, journalism or related field
Proficient in Word
Proficiency in Adobe suite a plus (InDesign, InCopy, Illustrator)
Editing experience and/or experience dealing with freelancers
Digital/online writing experience
Master's degree in Communications, English, Journalism or related field
