Job Details
Position: Experienced Title Escrow Curative Specialist.
Support residential real estate transactions across multiple states. Ideal for a detail‑oriented title professional who thrives in curative work, understands lender and state‑specific requirements, and excels at cross‑team collaboration. In the office for the first 6 months, then Hybrid/Remote.
Salary: $30 per hour.
Responsibilities
Review title commitments and prelims for accuracy and completeness.
Identify title defects, liens, judgments, and curative requirements.
Resolve title exceptions by coordinating releases, satisfactions, and missing documentation.
Track and follow up on outstanding curative items to ensure timely resolution.
Prepare deeds and conveyance documents in accordance with state‑specific requirements.
Ensure correct vesting, legal descriptions, and execution standards.
Work with multiple lenders and navigate varying lender requirements.
Manage differences between attorney states and title‑facilitated states.
Collaborate with Escrow Officers, Title Examiners, and Closing teams to support successful closings.
Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience in title curative, escrow curative, or title examination.
National, multi‑state title experience.
Strong understanding of attorney state vs. title‑facilitated state processes.
Hands‑on deed preparation experience.
Familiarity with lender‑specific requirements and underwriting guidelines.
Proficiency in ResWare or similar title/escrow software.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
