Senior Employment Counsel Our client is a publicly traded technology company that has built a leading enterprise software platform serving customers globally. The company operates at significant scale across AI, cloud, and customer engagement solutions and continues to grow through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.

The Role: As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will serve as the primary employment law advisor to the HR function across the Americas. Reporting to the US General Counsel, you'll handle the full spectrum of employment matters across the employee lifecycle - from day-to-day HR guidance and policy work to managing active litigation and pre-litigation exposure. You'll sit at the intersection of legal, HR, and business leadership in a collaborative team environment.

The Responsibilities:

Act as the frontline legal resource for HR on all employment-related questions, ranging from routine advice to complex, high-exposure situations

Advise business and HR leaders on compliance with federal and multi-state employment regulations

Own and manage a varied litigation and pre-litigation docket including accommodations, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, and restrictive covenant matters

Assess legal risk across employment scenarios in real time and deliver clear, actionable guidance

Draft, negotiate, and maintain employment agreements, separation packages, and workplace policies

Manage outside counsel

Qualifications:

J.D. and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

5+ years of employment law experience in-house or at a top law firm

Deep working knowledge of federal and state employment regulations across the employee lifecycle

Demonstrated ability to independently manage a complex, multi-matter docket with competing deadlines

Track record of partnering effectively with HR and business stakeholders as a trusted, accessible advisor
