Logistics Compliance Specialist
in
Farmington, CT . This role supports and strengthens global logistics operations by developing compliance programs, mitigating risk, and ensuring adherence to U.S. and international trade regulations.
What You’ll Do
Develop, document, and maintain import/export compliance policies and procedures
Audit and update SOPs to ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, EAR, and ITAR regulations
Support compliance work plans and conduct audits and process reviews
Assist with export licensing and documentation for international shipments
Support CTPAT initiatives and compliance programs
Train logistics teams on compliance standards and regulatory requirements
Investigate compliance issues and recommend corrective actions
Monitor tariff classifications using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule
What You’ll Bring
3–5 years of experience in supply chain compliance and import/export operations
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred
Strong knowledge of EAR, ITAR, CTPAT, and U.S. Customs regulations
Experience in manufacturing or global shipping environments preferred
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred
Strong communication and training skills

Direct Hire Opportunity
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | Full‑Time
Hybrid Schedule | 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
$78,000–$106,200/year DOE
