VCF Portfolio & Transaction Management Associate

Job Overview As part of the Portfolio and Transaction Management function within the VCF Team, the candidate will perform transaction management duties for a portion of the Value Chain Finance (VCF) portfolio in North America. Key tasks include coordinating internal approval processes, supporting client communication, conducting portfolio analysis, identifying requirement changes, and delivering update and improvement recommendations to senior management. The role is performed in a hybrid working environment (home and office).

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate internal approval processes and external documentation for transaction renewals and amendments.

Support direct dialogue with clients, lenders, and rating agencies; arrange and conduct business due diligence reviews.

Perform periodic portfolio analysis, review monthly settlement reports, and conduct trend analysis.

Identify changes in transaction requirements based on client needs, regulatory developments, and internal capital/liquidity models; report findings to the manager.

Provide updates and make improvement recommendations for transactions to senior team members.

Execute ad‑hoc projects such as IT improvements, regulatory impact analysis, and other related initiatives.

Collaborate with other transaction managers and provide backup support for business travel and other operational needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

4+ years of experience in wholesale banking, including asset‑based lending, securitizations, receivables financing, or supplier finance.

Relevant experience in Transaction Management, Execution, Credit, or Legal roles.

Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team‑player attitude with strong understanding of financial analysis and risk.

Strong technical skills, including product knowledge, credit assessment, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Willingness to work flexible hours and travel regionally up to 35% of the time.

Salary Range New York: $115,000 – $185,000 Atlanta: $105,000 – $165,000
