Role Overview Teva seeks a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for the West Region psychiatric space focused on an approved long‑acting injectable therapy for schizophrenia. The RSM will hire, onboard, and lead a team of 8–10 Hospital Account Managers, achieving sales goals in an ethical and compliant manner.

Responsibilities

Identify, recruit, coach, and retain top talent for the Teva Psychiatry Hospital sales team.

Develop expertise and coach others on regional business focus areas, including settings of care, payer and pull‑through opportunities, and flawless execution of the marketing strategy.

Develop effective business plans to meet and exceed regional sales goals.

Coach/train others in different settings of care to identify key business opportunities.

Demonstrate a collaborative sales approach and coordinate efforts between sales leadership, other Teva sales teams, market access, sales operations, and training.

Adhere to all Teva compliance guidelines, operate with integrity, and ensure the sales team adheres to these policies.

Review weekly/monthly data reports to identify trends and make plans to address concerns.

Coach teams on the execution of the defined call plan for each hospital account manager.

Coach teams toward success from hire date onward, providing counseling, encouragement, and oversight to ensure effective execution of brand strategy.

Spend 90+ days in the field, supporting local sales representatives.

Live in Los Angeles, San Diego, or San Francisco, CA (West Region).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.

Minimum 3+ years of pharmaceutical first-line sales management or related people management, or internal candidates demonstrating leadership ability to manage teams.

Record of successfully achieving sales goals and building, coaching, and developing effective sales teams.

Experience in psychiatric therapeutic areas, especially long‑acting injectables for schizophrenia, strongly preferred.

Recent experience launching products in the psychiatric space across multiple settings of care and hospitals preferred.

Injectable and in‑hospital administration experience within an acute care hospital facility preferred.

Experience in rare disease space, working with specialty pharmacies, Buy and Bill, and HUB services strongly preferred.

Skills & Knowledge

Ability to interact with customers in live and virtual environments and proficiency with technology.

Understanding of reimbursement coverage and pull‑through strategies, experience in all pertinent settings of business (hospitals, CMHC, specialty pharmacy, private practice).

Proven written and verbal communication skills.

Valid US driver's license and acceptable driving record required.

Other Requirements Teva Pharmaceuticals USA will require all new hires for customer‑facing roles to complete credentialing requirements within 60 days of start date.

Travel Extensive travel throughout the assigned region, which may include air travel and weekend or overnight travel.

Physical Requirements Occasional visual acuity tasks; sit at a workstation; perform computer work, data analysis, and extensive reading.

Salary and Incentives Annual starting salary: $151,000 – $190,000. Participation in company sales incentive plan available.
