Our Team, Your Impact Teva is searching for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to join our hospital sales team in the South Region. This position will be part of the newly created sales team focused on the psychiatry space and responsible for the performance of an approved long‑acting injectable therapy for schizophrenia. The RSM will hire, onboard, and lead a team of 8‑10 Hospital Account Managers. The RSM will be responsible for achieving and delivering results in a compliant and ethical manner. The RSM will possess an understanding of organizational objectives and align resources appropriately to meet those objectives. While pursuing their goals, the incumbent will uphold the culture and values of Teva in all interactions and business matters. They will analyze trends and apply knowledge to help the sales team accomplish its sales goals.

Identify, recruit, coach, and retain top talent for the Teva Psychiatry Hospital sales team

Develop expertise and coach others on regional business focus areas, including settings of care, payer and pull‑through opportunities, and flawless execution of the marketing strategy

Develop effective business plans to meet and exceed regional sales goals

Coach/train others in different settings of care to identify key business opportunities

Demonstrate a collaborative sales approach and coordinate efforts between sales leadership, other Teva sales teams, market access, sales operations, and training

Adhere to all Teva compliance guidelines, operate with integrity, and ensure the sales team adheres to these policies

Review weekly/monthly data reports to identify trends and make plans to address concerns

Coach teams on the execution of the defined call plan for each hospital account manager

Coach teams towards success from hire date onward, providing appropriate counseling, encouragement, and oversight to ensure effective execution of brand strategy

Spend 90+ days in the field, supporting local sales representatives

Ideal candidate will live in Houston, TX / New Orleans, LA / Nashville, TN / St. Louis, MO / Kansas City, MO/KS

Your Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree required

Minimum 3+ years of pharmaceutical first‑line sales management or related people management experience

Record of successfully achieving sales goals and building, coaching, and developing effective sales teams

Experience in psychiatric therapeutic areas strongly preferred and specific experience with long‑acting injectables for the treatment of schizophrenia preferred

Recent experience of successfully launching products in the psychiatric space across multiple settings of care and hospitals preferred

Injectable and in‑hospital administration experience within an acute care hospital facility preferred

Experience in rare disease space, working with Specialty Pharmacies, Buy and Bill, and HUB services strongly preferred

Ability to interact with customers in live and virtual environments and proficiency with technology

Understanding of reimbursement coverage and pull‑through strategies as well as experience in all pertinent settings of business (Hospitals, CMHC, specialty pharmacy, private practice)

Proven written and verbal communication skills

Valid U.S. driver’s license and acceptable driving record required

Travel Requirements

Extensive travel throughout the assigned region, which may include air travel and weekend or overnight travel

Physical Requirements

Occasional: Visual acuity, sit for extended periods of time at workstation or mobile equipment, perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading

Working Environment

May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed on site visits (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves)

Salary Range The annual starting salary for this position is between $151,000 – $190,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position also qualifies for participation in the company’s sales incentive plan, which rewards employees based on their achievement of defined sales targets and adheres to the plan’s established guidelines.
