This position acts as a thought partner to finance leaders and cross?functional teams, providing guidance on accounting interpretation, policy alignment, and financial reporting considerations tied to strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain accounting positions and policies for complex or evolving transactions
Evaluate technical accounting implications of new business activities, structural changes, and strategic initiatives
Partner closely with finance, legal, and operational leaders to align accounting conclusions with business objectives
Support accounting considerations related to transactions, integrations, and organizational changes
Lead interpretation and rollout of new accounting guidance and internal policy updates
Provide senior?level technical oversight and mentorship within a matrixed environment
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
11+ years of progressive experience across accounting, reporting, audit, or accounting advisory roles
Early?career experience in Big 4 or large public accounting firm audit or advisory strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to apply accounting judgment in complex, ambiguous situations
Experience supporting large, multi?entity or global operating environments
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Prior experience leading or advising teams in a technical capacity; direct management experience not required
