ABOUT THE COMPANY:
The Director of Finance is a key leadership role responsible for directing, managing, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Finance Office. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this individual ensures the integrity of financial processes, reporting, and compliance across the organization and its affiliated entities.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining strong financial stewardship while supporting operational effectiveness and long-term financial planning.

OVERVIEW OF THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE ROLE:
- Oversee all daily financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Lead and manage financial activities related to insurance, investments, and overall fiscal management
- Provide oversight and guidance for parish/affiliate financial operations, including annual financial reviews
- Supervise and support Regional Business Managers responsible for financial operations across multiple locations
- Collaborate with senior leadership as part of the administrative team to drive strategic financial initiatives
- Serve as the ex officio Financial Officer for the organization’s deposit and loan fund
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accountability and transparency
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support financial planning and decision-making
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting
- At least 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, payroll, employee benefits, and commercial insurance
- Proficiency with financial systems, accounting software, spreadsheets, and databases
