Position Summary : Temporary hourly-intermittent Student Assistant position in Communication Studies. Start Date : Position available on or after May 1, 2026 and ending on or before May 31, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance. Job Description / Duties : Duties include but are not limited to: Assist in overseeing and organizing the day to day operation of KCSS. Assist in training and assigning time slots for student and volunteer broadcasters. Assist in coordinating activities of student management team and conduct staff meetings. Assist in maintaining regular office hours. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications : Demonstrates working knowledge of the operation of a college radio station, some management and non-commercial radio experience. Demonstrates completion of one semester of COMM 3112. Demonstrates effective organizational and communication skills. Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office. Demonstrates prior experience with Adobe Creative Cloud. Required Qualifications : Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units. Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units. Salary
