KCSS Station Program Director (Student Assistant)
Temporary hourly‑intermittent Student Assistant position in Communication Studies at Stanislaus State University. Position available on or after May 1, 2026 and ending on or before May 31, 2026.
Responsibilities
Assist in overseeing and organizing the day‑to‑day operation of KCSS.
Assist in training and assigning time slots for student and volunteer broadcasters.
Assist in coordinating activities of the student management team and conducting staff meetings.
Assist in maintaining regular office hours.
Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrates working knowledge of the operation of a college radio station and some management and non‑commercial radio experience.
Demonstrates completion of one semester of COMM 3112.
Demonstrates effective organizational and communication skills.
Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Demonstrates prior experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
Required Qualifications
Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
Post‑baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
Salary $16.90 per hour.
Criminal Background Clearance Notice Satisfactory completion of a background check (including employment records, education records, criminal records, civil records, motor vehicle records, professional licenses, and sex offender registries where required) is required for employment. Employment may be rescinded if disqualifying information is discovered.
