Position Overview The Human Resources Business Partner will provide strategic HR leadership and generalist support for distribution centers across ten locations—one of which is a Union facility—within the West Division. The role requires 50‑60% travel within California and focuses on driving cultural excellence and employee engagement.
Compensation & Location Salary: $138,403 – $168,954 plus annual bonus. Location: Sacramento, CA.

Responsibilities
Provide strategic HR leadership and generalist support across multiple distribution centers.
Engage a diversified workforce, including a Union facility, spanning frontline to leadership roles.
Leverage HR processes and tools to enhance management credibility, business performance, and employee engagement.
Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop innovative recruiting strategies for frontline and leadership talent.
Build and maintain a culture of compliance with all applicable laws and ethical standards.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a human resources generalist/leadership role, preferably in a fast‑paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in business, humanities, psychology, or a related field.
Hands‑on union experience.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Prior SuccessFactors experience preferred.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively, up to 50%.
Strategic mindset with proven ability to be an effective HR business partner and drive impactful change.
Experience in employee relations, recruitment, and staffing of complex HR matters.
Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal employment laws (EEO, FMLA, etc.).
Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
Exceptional project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
