Senior Manager, Communications Strategy - Temp

Are you the master builder who can help us plan exciting integrated communications experiences using everything LEGO has to play with? This 6‑month temporary role seeks an experienced strategist who knows their owned from their earned, who dreams in consumer journeys, and who gets as excited about a communications planning process as they do about bold, brave ideas. Core Responsibilities Bring big ideas to life across our ecosystem in both campaign periods and throughout the year, through clear, compelling and connected user journeys across multiple touchpoints. Combine creativity and effectiveness by deeply understanding audiences, touchpoints and media thinking. Apply an understanding of how brands grow and how effective communications create impact and drive results. Use data and research to inform your approach, while staying open to creative innovation and exploration. Partner closely with Strategy and Creative leads to ensure our creative ideas use an integrated mix of owned, earned, and paid channels, and are deployed via innovative, targeted media and technology. Develop strong insights based on a deep understanding of consumer and shopper needs as well as channels and behaviors. Create measurable campaign KPIs to enhance creative effectiveness and improve the sell‑rate of innovative ideas. Deliver strong storytelling, persuasive pitching and stakeholder engagement to get teams excited and onboard with your thinking. Help shape and develop our planning processes and collaboration across agency, marketing and channel teams. Support colleagues to refine their thinking, and build relationships across LEGO to create engaging experiences. Be interested and curious about the world, challenge our view, and bring new perspectives to how we work. Do you have what it takes? Extensive experience in a brand communications planning or strategy role, responsible for channel and campaign planning, and communication architecture. A proven track record of implementing holistic communications planning strategies across channels that bring big ideas to life. Experience using data‑driven planning tools, audience insight (qualitative and quantitative) and effectiveness data to build plans, working within defined planning processes. Experience working with channels and media owners to develop creative and executional thinking. Ability to inform, move with, and stay ahead of consumer behaviors, technology platforms, and cultural shifts. Excellent written, verbal, and emotional communication skills to be a critical member of the team. Desire to stay close to projects throughout their life‑cycle to maintain strategic and creative excellence. Passion for creating communication work that has impact, matters, and is memorable. Proven storytelling experience; must provide past examples of thought leadership. Compensation The salary for this position ranges from $134,750.00 to $202,126.00, based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. Comprehensive remuneration details, including benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
