What you will do
In this vital role you will represent TAVNEOS to physicians and health care professionals, establish product sales, and perform total territory account management. You will drive product demand and coordinate relevant field teams to address account needs.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve and exceed annual sales goals.
Promote TAVNEOS within approved labeling in a fair, ethical, and compliant manner.
Address access, pull-through, and reimbursement issues by coordinating with stakeholders and matrix team members.
Build strong customer relationships by understanding and communicating customer needs and goals.
Consistently meet or exceed corporate sales goals.
Communicate territory activity accurately and timely to management.
Drive product demand through education on disease state and product information.
Provide feedback to leadership and internal departments about changing environment and results.
Adhere to the company’s compliance policies and guidelines, including the PhRMA code.
Work closely with patient services and market access teams to achieve overall business goals.
Coordinate between accounts and field teams to support full range of account needs.
Educate healthcare professionals and office staff on site-of-care options.
Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed.
Manage promotional and operational budget within assignment.
Optimize use of approved resources to achieve territory and account goals.
Complete all company training classes.
Maintain accurate and timely administrative duties.
Serve as a contributing member of a high-performance team.
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as requested by the company.
Basic Qualifications (Account Manager — Level 4)
Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of sales experience in pharma, biotech, medical device, or hospital sales.
Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience in pharma, biotech, medical device, or hospital sales.
High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience in pharma, biotech, medical device, or hospital sales.
Basic Qualifications (Specialty Account Manager — Level 5)
Doctorate degree & 2 years of collective account management, sales, and commercial experience.
Master’s degree & 6 years of collective account management, sales, and commercial experience.
Bachelor’s degree & 8 years of collective account management, sales, and commercial experience.
Associate degree & 10 years of collective account management, sales, and commercial experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Buy-and-bill experience with documented success and/or biologic/infusion experience preferred.
Sales experience in Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, and/or rare/specialty disease states preferred.
Site-of-care and reimbursement experience strongly preferred.
Experience working with institutions and integrated delivery networks.
Pharma account management selling experience essential; must coordinate across field teams for full account needs.
Approximately 80% travel, including overnight and weekend commitments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Professional, proactive demeanor.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Benefits
Expected annual salary range: Account Manager — Level 4: $145,311 – $196,597; Specialty Account Manager — Level 5: $150,628 – $203,790.
