This is not a remote position. This position is located in Ridgeland, MS, Baton Rouge, LA, Cayce, SC and Little Rock, AR. Write detailed descriptions of user needs and identifies gaps in functionality between systems. Assist in developing solutions to eliminate gaps. Review computer system capabilities and workflow to recommend system modifications and enhancements. Assist with managing and coordinating task assignements of other business analysts. Study existing information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and improve production or workflow. Prepare workflow charts and diagrams to specify in detail operations to be performed by equipment and computer programs and operations to be performed by personnel. Conduct studies pertaining to development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs. Review software specifications and participate in writing software specifications. May be involved in the training and mentoring of other Business Analysts. Assist the user departments in implementing new systems and assist with maintaining and error correction after implementation. Additional Responsibilities Night call may be required. Additional hours may be required to meet project deadlines. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Travel as required. Education Education Level - Education Details - Req - Pref Bachelor's Degree - Business, MIS, IT or related field. - X - Or A equivalent combination of education, training and experience. - X Qualifications
