We are currently seeking a
Labor Relations Specialist. Job Responsibilities and Duties: Lead collective bargaining negotiations in partnership with legal counsel and HR leaders, including wages, benefits, working conditions, and contract terms.
Prepare data analysis and cost modeling to support Collective Bargaining Agreement renewals and negotiations.
Maintain contract administration tools, trackers, and documentation for multiple bargaining units.
Interpret, apply, and enforce Collective Bargaining Agreements consistently and accurately across facilities.
Audit facility practices to ensure compliance with agreed-upon labor contract terms.
Advise leaders and HR partners on contract provisions, best practices, and labor-related risk mitigation.
Serve as an escalation point for union and labor-management meetings when necessary.
Review and assess grievances for contractual validity and recommend appropriate resolution strategies.
Support grievance handling and arbitration preparation in collaboration with legal and HR teams.
Ensure compliance with the National Labor Relations Act, state labor laws, and applicable regulations.
Maintain accurate labor relations records, files, and reporting documentation.
Track and analyze trends related to grievances, discipline, and labor issues to provide actionable insights to leadership.
Coach and counsel leadership teams on maintaining positive labor-management relationships while protecting organizational interests.
Provide employee relations support across facilities as business needs require.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated experience in labor relations, collective bargaining, or unionized environments.
Strong working knowledge of collective bargaining agreements, grievance procedures, and labor law principles.
Understanding of NLRA requirements and applicable state labor regulations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, cost proposals, and labor trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to advise and influence leaders with sound judgment and professionalism.
High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive employee and labor matters confidentially.
Ability to travel to facilities as needed.
