Client Account & Billing Liaison
The client account and billing liaison is a New Yorkbased role within the firm's global finance team, responsible for managing and coordinating the full billing process while ensuring compliance with client guidelines, firm policies, and internal protocols. This position serves as a key point of contact between billing attorneys, secretarial staff, practice office billing teams, and clients, providing expert support and timely responses to billing-related inquiries. The role may offer a hybrid work schedule. Key responsibilities include reviewing and generating client proformas using elite 3e, coordinating with global billing and eBilling teams to resolve issues and improve future submissions, and supporting finance committee objectives, including preparation for quarterly committee calls. The role also involves direct client communication, status updates, issue resolution, and strict handling of sensitive and confidential financial information. Candidates should have strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and improvement-driven mindset. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree preferred) and at least six years of general accounting experience, including five years in law firm billing. Prior experience with professional services billing systems is preferred.
