Senior Event Specialist

In this role, you will focus on designing and executing high-touch, in-person executive briefings at our Executive Briefing Center (EBC). You will play a critical role in shaping personalized, strategic engagements that deepen relationships and accelerate business outcomes. Partner with the best As part of the Global Events team, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Executive stakeholders to design and deliver tailored EBC programs for key customers and prospects. You will manage the end-to-end experiencefrom planning and content alignment to onsite executionensuring each briefing is impactful, seamless, and aligned to business objectives. As a Senior Event Specialist, you will be responsible for: Designing and executing Executive Briefing Center (EBC) programs for strategic customers and prospects Partnering with Sales and account teams to understand business objectives and tailor briefing agendas Managing end-to-end logistics for executive briefings including scheduling, travel coordination, room setup, and onsite experience Collaborating with Product, Marketing, and Executive presenters to curate compelling, customer-specific content Delivering a white-glove, high-touch experience for senior-level attendees Ensuring brand consistency and excellence across all briefing experiences Managing briefing calendars, documentation, and internal systems Tracking program success, gathering feedback, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have 3 to 5 years of event marketing, executive briefings, or high-touch customer engagement programs in B2B technology Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Be experienced in working with senior stakeholders and executives Thrive in delivering highly personalized, premium experiences Be comfortable managing fast-paced, detail-oriented programs with evolving needs Have excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams Be open to occasional travel to support briefing programs and team initiatives Build your career at Akamai Our ability to shape digital life today relies on developing exceptional people like you. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $76,100 - $136,900/year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
