Director, HR Business Partner
This senior HR leadership role serves as a strategic partner to executive and operational leaders, driving organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, and workforce performance. The position plays a key role in shaping business outcomes through people-focused initiatives, including leadership development, culture transformation, and change management. This is a fully on-site, temporary assignment (approximately 16-18 months) supporting a complex healthcare environment. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on organizational strategy, workforce planning, and talent development Lead and develop a team of HR Business Partners, including hiring, coaching, and performance management Support multiple business units, ensuring alignment between HR strategy and operational goals Design and implement initiatives related to engagement, retention, succession planning, and leadership development Partner with leadership to drive change management efforts and foster a high-performance culture Identify organizational gaps and develop data-driven solutions to improve workforce effectiveness Provide guidance on employee relations, compensation strategies, and performance management Facilitate leadership discussions and contribute to operational reviews to align HR initiatives with business outcomes Manage HR-related budgets and ensure fiscal accountability Develop and deliver training programs and organizational interventions Promote continuous improvement, collaboration, and employee engagement across teams Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Minimum 10 years of experience in HR business partnership or client-facing HR roles At least 5 years of leadership experience managing HR teams Demonstrated expertise in talent strategy, organizational development, and change management Strong leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels Master's degree in a related field Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, or equivalent) Experience supporting complex or multi-entity organizations Advanced knowledge of workforce analytics and strategic planning Strategic workforce planning and talent management Leadership development and organizational effectiveness Change management and stakeholder engagement Strong business acumen and problem-solving Communication, facilitation, and influencing skills Houston offers a vibrant mix of professional opportunity and lifestyle benefits.
