Your New Role
Lead the full estimating process from plan review through final bid submission in Bonsall, CA
Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and detailed cost analysis for commercial construction projects
Build, manage, and qualify subcontractor and vendor pricing
Negotiate subcontractor bids to ensure competitive and complete project coverage
Partner with project managers to align budgets, scope, and execution strategies
Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering
Support business development by contributing to bid strategy and helping secure new projects
Develop preliminary project schedules using Microsoft Project
Utilize platforms such as Procore, Construction Connect, and Blue Book to support estimating efforts

Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
Solid understanding of construction costs, bid strategy, and project budgeting
Experience with estimating software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar
Proficiency with Procore, Construction Connect, and Blue Book
Strong communication, negotiation, and subcontractor management skills
Ability to work independently with a high level of accountability
Experience creating project schedules in Microsoft Project preferred
