Entry-Level Millwork Carpenter
We are seeking a dependable, entry-level Millwork Carpenter to support a busy production shop. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in woodworking, cabinetry, or millwork. You'll work alongside experienced team members to fabricate and assemble custom wood products for commercial and residential projects. * Assist in the construction of cabinets, casework, trim, and custom wood components * Read and follow blueprints, shop drawings, and cut lists * Measure, cut, sand, and assemble materials to specification * Operate hand tools and basic woodworking machinery safely * Maintain a clean and organized work area * Follow all safety procedures and production standards * 03 years of carpentry, woodworking, or related experience * Basic knowledge of hand and power tools * Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math * Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment * Reliable transportation and consistent attendance * Exposure to cabinetry, millwork, or woodworking projects * Familiarity with shop equipment or CNC machines * Indoor, shop-based production setting * Exposure to dust, noise, and machinery * Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Pay: Starting at $17/hour (based on experience) HireQuest does not discriminate on the basis of Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or other legally protected group status in making hiring or employment decisions.
